To the Editor: When Sloan et al. compared guns, gun laws, and homicide rates in Vancouver and Seattle,1 the study was denounced by me2 , 3 and, among others, two of the leading criminologists on the gun issue — Wright4 and Kleck, who said:The research was worthless. There isn't a legitimate gun control expert in the country who regarded it as legitimate research.
