To the Editor: When Sloan et al. compared guns, gun laws, and homicide rates in Vancouver and Seattle,¹ the study was denounced by me^{2 , 3} and, among others, two of the leading criminologists on the gun issue — Wright⁴ and Kleck, who said:The research was worthless. There isn't a legitimate gun control expert in the country who regarded it as legitimate research.
