Presentation of CaseA 4 9/12-year-old girl was admitted to the hospital because of sexual precocity.She was born of a normal, full-term fifth pregnancy and delivery to a mother aged 30 years. Her birth weight was 3.6 kg. Her growth and physical and intellectual development were normal. She was admitted to another hospital on two occasions because of pneumonitis during the three years preceding entry. She was otherwise well until 3 1/2 months before admission, when her parents noticed emotional lability and bilateral breast enlargement.
