In Table 1 (page 879), “β-Adrenergic–receptor agonists” should have read, “β-Adrenergic–receptor antagonists.” In the text, in the second sentence of the second paragraph under the heading “Increase in the Prevalence of Hypertension” (page 883), “blood pressures of 120–130/80–89 mm Hg” should have read, “blood pressures of 120–139/80–89 mm Hg.” The article has been corrected at NEJM.org.
