Overseas Screening for Tuberculosis in U.S.-Bound Immigrants and Refugees (Original Article, N Engl J Med 2009:360;2406 - 2415) . The term “incidence” should be replaced with “prevalence” in four places in the article. In Table 1 (page 2409) and Table 2 (page 2410), the stub column entries “Incidence of tuberculosis in birth country” should read “Prevalence of tuberculosis in birth country.” In the Results section, the third subsection head (page 2411) should read “Birth Countries with a High Prevalence of Tuberculosis,” and in the first sentence of the same subsection, the phrase “a tuberculosis incidence of 100 or more cases per 100,000 population per year” should read “a tuberculosis prevalence of 100 or more cases per 100,000 population per year.” The article has been corrected at NEJM.org.
