Lapatinib plus Capecitabine for HER2-Positive Advanced Breast Cancer (Original Article, N Engl J Med 2006:355;2733 - 2743) . Table 3 (page 2741) should have included a footnote for Grade 4 adverse events: “A total of 13 grade 4 adverse events occurred among 10 (6%) of the patients receiving lapatinib plus capecitabine, and 16 grade 4 adverse events occurred among 11 (7%) of the patients receiving capecitabine alone. These differences are not significant.” The table has been corrected on the Journal's Web site at www.nejm.org.
