On page 1378, the last sentence of the Results paragraph of the abstract should have read, “In patients 41 to 50 years old, the rates were 9.5 percent and 5.8 percent, respectively (P=0.02). At five years, no differences between treatment groups were found in the rates of metastasis or overall survival (which were 87 and 91 percent, respectively).”
