Case Records of the Massachusetts General Hospital (Case 12-2000) (Case Records of the Massachusetts General Hospital, N Engl J Med 2000:342;1196 - 1204) . On page 1203, the sentence that begins on line 14 of the left-hand column should have read, “We usually recommend surgical excision if the macroadenoma is close to or impinging on any important adjacent structures, such as the optic chiasm,” not “if the macroadenoma is relatively small and if it is located in the sellar area and is not close to any important structures,” as printed.
