Figure 1 A 67-year-old woman has multiple telangiectasias on her hands, as well as on her arms, legs, ears, lips, and nasal mucosa. She has had numerous episodes of epistaxis and gastrointestinal bleeding since her mid-20s. Endoscopic evaluation revealed multiple telangiectasias in her stomach and colon. She has a strong maternal family history of similar lesions. She is otherwise healthy and requires only iron supplements.
