On page 1058, in Table 1, the normal range for sex hormone–binding globulin should have been listed as 6 to 44 nmol per liter, not 0.4 to 4.8 nmol per liter, as printed. As a result, the last sentence of the first paragraph beginning in the left-hand column of page 1060 should be disregarded.
