The Increasing Disparity in Mortality between Socioeconomic Groups in the United States, 1960 and 1986 (Special Article, N Engl J Med 1993:329;103 - 109) . On page 107, in Figure 4, the line for “Women, low education” should have been plotted at 5.2 for 1960 and 3.4 for 1986. Also, in line 3 of the legend, the 1986 figure should have been “<12 years of schooling,” not “<11 years,” as printed.
