The NEJM Review CME Program is a comprehensive home study program developed by a respected team of educators, academicians, and clinicians. Based on study of the most clinically relevant New England Journal of Medicine articles, the Program is specifically developed for primary care physicians who are involved in patient care and wish to advance their current knowledge of clinical medicine. The Program is also geared toward better preparing specialists to practice medicine in a primary care environment.

Planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education, the Program serves as both an excellent educational tool and an effective solution to the practical needs of busy physicians.

Here’s all you need to do:

Save your regular NEJM issues, as you probably already do.
Choose a Program schedule. Each Program covers one volume, six months of the New England Journal of Medicine. You receive a 50-question examination based on clinically relevant articles from that volume.
Review the material, select the appropriate answers, and return your answer sheet. You then receive a comprehensive critique of the answers with your score, along with reference information, providing a complete, educational review.
Complete the Program evaluation, providing important feedback on the Program’s quality and effectiveness.

Upon successful completion of this Program (a score of 70% or better is required), you will receive a certificate of completion from the Massachusetts Medical Society for 50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ or 50 AAFP Prescribed credits.
